LATCH 2004 Auction "All That Jazz"

 

 


The 10th Annual LATCH auction, "All That Jazz," held October 16, 2004, was a resounding success.  Latch raised nearly $80,000 to use for our housing programs and development.  The auction, held at the Atrium of the Seattle Design Center, featured four silent auctions, a dessert auction, a "Feeding Frenzy" restaurant certificate auction, a drawing for a cash prize, a "crystal centerpiece" auction, a special drawing for one person to choose an item from the live auction before it started, and the main feature, the live auction event.  This was accompanied by catalog of items sent to attendees beforehand, a local youth jazz band that played during the silent auctions, a delicious catered meal, gracious company at each dinner table, a moving speech by a LATCH property manager/resident, and lively bidding.
