Annual Meeting 2005 - Fifteenth Year Anniversary

The First Lutheran Church of Bothell graciously hosted the 2005 LATCH Annual Meeting on Saturday evening, May 14. This was a milestone gathering, as it marked LATCH's 15th year anniversary.  Imprinted water bottles and hand-cut granite cubes (milestones) were given to all guests to commemorate the occasion. Special "15th Anniversary Outstanding Volunteer Awards" were presented to Jerry Wagner and Evie Bang for their faithful volunteer service to LATCH over many years.  The "2005 Opening Doors Volunteer of the Year Award" was presented to outgoing Board President, Mike Muhm for his dedicated service.  Paul Carlson, Regional Coordinator for the Federal Interagency Council on Homelessness, spoke passionately on behalf of the homeless and resident Janet Sparks told of her rewarding experiences in LATCH housing.  Outgoing liaisons and board members were recognized and incoming ones were welcomed.  Pastor Michael Schultz-Rothermal kept watch over all, opening and closing the evening with prayer.
